Broiled Grapefruit

Who would have thought that a warm grapefruit with a dash of cinnamon and sugar could be sooo amazing? Grapefruit is already my favorite fruit, but this Broiled Grapefruit will soon become a fave dessert!


    • 1 Large Grapefruit
    • 1 Tbs Dark Brown Sugar
    • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder


  1. Preheat oven to broil.
  2. Mix cinnamon and sugar together. Set aside.
  3. Cut grapefruit in half horizontally.
  4. Carefully cut around the inside edge of each grapefruit half. Make small, deep cuts into the sides of each segment's membrane.
  5. Sprinkle each half with cinnamon sugar mix. Place each half into an oven-safe dish with the sugar side facing up.
  6. Broil for 10-15 minutes or until the top is brown and caramelized.
  7. Let cool then serve.
