" For we live by faith, not by sight. "2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
Now that you have built and strengthened your relationship with God, bask in your faith! Internalize that God has consecrated you. You have been chosen for a mission that only you can perform!
The purpose of this series, Fixed in Faith, was to establish a healthy and everlasting relationship with God. To do so, we must live by faith and not by sight. We have to let go of our fear of disappointment, pain, and misery because that's a part of life. It’s way easier when we accept what it is and keep pushing. Don’t be fearful of making mistakes because those circumstances were put in place to teach us. Go full throttle with everything you do. Give it all to God and He will give that back and more.
You Are Forever Chosen
It must have been hard for Moses’ mother to place her baby boy in a basket and send him down the Nile River. Wouldn’t you be fearful of all the dangerous things that could happen? Courageously, she responded without fear and gave in to her faith. She knew God would protect him and in response, he did. The Pharaoh's daughter adopted Moses as her son and he lived as a Prince instead of a slave.
But did you know that Moses then killed a man and fled for his life?
Some would think that God would not use Moses anymore because of his dirty little secret, but it was just the opposite. God still called upon him to free the Israelites from slavery, to separate the Red Sea with his staff, and to receive The Ten Commandments. God still had a desire to use Moses as his chosen one to serve his purpose in the world.
God forgave us all for our sins when He allowed His Son to be placed on the cross. He knows the secrets we have held from others, the unspeakable pain we have beared, the mistakes no one witnessed. He knows all of that and still loves us. Accept his grace and forgiveness because He still chooses you!
